David Comeau, CEO, CTO, and Founder of Albright Technologies

He is a 15-year veteran in the area of rapid prototype molding of medical silicone and medical thermoplastic components.

Published: Three papers and several presentations at national and international conferences.

Scope of Activities: Silicone consulting to include: Medical silicone materials selection and processes , Micro medical silicone tooling and molding, low temperature curing of conductive silicone, silicone optics, bonding of silicone to thermal plastics and metals Designing silicone processing equipment.

David is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, MA, and Inner City Entrepreneurs.

Bob Waitt, Vice President of Operations and Partner

Bob’s primary function is managing the technical business operations of the company, which include; tool design, fabrication, (medical) silicone knowledge, and production management. Bob is also involved in the quality assurance process as well as new business development.

Bob has been with Albright for over ten (10) years. He has worked his way up from a mold operator, tool maker, project engineer, and quality manager. He played an integral role in setting up the quality management system that allowed Albright the opportunity to become ISO 13485 registered. Bob’s engineering background, as well as his practical experience, has allowed him to be a key contributor to the development of new and innovative tool designs and manufacturing techniques that allow Albright to expand the boundaries of medical silicone and thermoplastic micro molding.

Bob holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University, Class of 2006. He enjoys traveling, playing sports, and is a HUGE fan of Boston sports teams! Go Sox!

Alan Frechette, Quality Assurance Manager

Alan brings 18 years of Quality management expertise in the Medical Silicone, Plastics, and Elastomers industries to the team. His experience includes QA support in medical device manufacturing. He was instrumental in Albright’s achieving ISO 13485 registration and manages an FDA class 10,000 Controlled Environment Room.

Alan is customer focused and results oriented. He believes that when employees work as a team, with emphasis on continual improvement to identify and implement best practices, success is inevitable for the customer and company.

Alan is a qualified internal auditor for A2LA, ISO 9001:2000, and ISO 13485:2003.

Member: ASQ, AAMI, ASTM and SPE.
